Leaving Scotland
So sad. Tomorrow I leave Scotland to return to the States. It definitely doesn't feel like I've been here for 2 weeks. I'll post pics and a description of adventures once I get home.
Peace. Out.

Land of Scot
After 29 hours of traveling (including waking up at 4am to leave for the airport) I finally made it to Scotland! It has been SO good to catch up with Jeni and Matt and to meet Hosea (their AMAZING son) for the first time. Plus it's fun to actually be COLD in the winter. Things have been pretty chill so far, which is good..allowing my brain time to decompress after finals. Tomorrow we're off to the Farmer's Market and then I'm hittin the streets and exploring Edinburgh on my own.
And the good news keeps coming! I passed all of my classes, so I'll be continuing on for another quarter in vet school!
Pictures and detailed description of adventures to follow soon.

Rudolf visits the vet.
Proof that the pathology department at UCD is officially out of control:
"Why was Rudolf's nose so red?
a) He had a chronic drinking problem (toppling hot buttered rum to keep warm at the North Pole).
b) He had a congenital hamartoma.
c) He had a hemangiosarcoma.
d) He had a cold (those long holiday flights, you know)
e) He had a hematoma (those other reindeer were really jealous)"
-taken from an old final exam. Wow.
I'm going with the hemangiosarcoma...although I don't think they glow. What do you think?
